About the role

We are now focusing on the growth in the IoT-area and strengthening the team with a Senior Security Development Lifecycle professional with prior hands-on software engineering experience.

You master secure software development methodologies and practices. You know how to add security into product development lifecycle without sacrificing agility. You have also implemented secure development lifecycle processes in large organizations and were accepted as a coach within the development teams.

As all organizations are different, you are flexible and take time to understand the team culture, development process and gaps within the development lifecycle, in order to tailor the best possible secure development lifecycle for each organization.

This role will focus on helping our clients to ensure their products are secured throughout their lifecycle. In practice this means implementation of SDLC processes within the development teams and establishing governance models for secure development lifecycle processes. A lot of the work will be aimed at compliance with relevant SDLC standards and frameworks. To succeed in this role, you will wear following hats in your projects:
- SDLC Process designer
- SDLC Coach
- SDLC Compliance specialist

Your work will have a tremendous impact, as you will be in a key role for securing our clients’ innovations and ensuring their compliance with relevant security standards. You will be supported by a team of senior experts, specialized in secure product architecture development, security R&D, penetration testers and fellow secure software development lifecycle experts. Together you will help our customers to build and maintain secure, award-winning products and services, all of which will be mission-critical in their own way.

In this role we hope to see some of the following:

• Extensive experience in designing and implementing secure development lifecycle in product development organizations
• Proven capability to coach development teams on various aspects of secure development lifecycle
• Complete knowledge of typical agile software development lifecycle processes and practices in large organizations
• Prior job history in hands-on software engineering (Bonus: embedded software development)
• Knowledge of SDLC – related standards and frameworks
• Consultative, coach-like mentality
• Passion for cybersecurity
• Desire to learn, to stay on top of relevant trends
• Bonus: Experience in DevSecOps
