I am Aki Silvennoinen and I am leading the Converged Access unit in Networks Systems & Delivery. I am now looking for a Senior Manager to lead Converged Access Evolution & LCM unit and join my leadership team. Your location can be in Helsinki, Vilnius, Stockholm, Copenhagen or Oslo.

The role of the Converged Access in Telia is to be accountable and responsible of evolution, design, development, operations and life-cycle management of radio and fixed access networks. Our objectives are to design, develop, operate and manage innovative and high quality and cost-efficient systems that enable products to offer best value to our customers.

Your next challenge?

You will be heading up the critical function CA Evolution & LCM, responsible for radio and fixed access evolution and life-cycle management on Telia Company level. As the Head of Evolution & LCM, you will have a key role in transformation Telia access networks to the 5G era, including supporting new services via convergence in access technologies. You will have a strong drive for Telia level radio and fixed access roadmap in close collaboration with local infrastructure units in Telia markets. You will work closely with our strategic partners and lead supplier management together with Sourcing, including supplier strategy, vendor management and contract execution of entire Telia footprint of access solutions. You will be leading of team of 10+ senior experts in multiple Telia countries. You are a key member of the Converged Access Leadership Team and will support Head of Converged Access in our ongoing change journey.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Design and development of access for higher speed and quality
• Cost analysis in terms of TCO to Buy, Build and Operate
• Driving consolidation of across the Telia company
• Accountable for the LCM of the access platforms.
• Evolution of the target systems in strong cooperation with the Architecture team, the business stakeholders and the system vendors
• Negotiating, agreeing and maintaining contracts with third-party organizations
• Accountable Product manager in part of our Agile Release Train
• Competence mgmt. according to long term plans

• Previous leadership experience in leading teams in technical and complex environments is an asset
• Experience in leading teams through change
• Preferred experience in Agile WoW and DevOps
• Fluent skills on one of the Nordic & Baltics languages
