We are looking for a Planning, Fulfilment and Logistics Manager at ABB Oy, Motors & Generators in Helsinki. Planning, Fulfillment and Logistics Manager is a leader, who ensures that the workload at the Induction Machines factory is well-planned in advance, as balanced as possible, and contributes heavily on the capability of the manufacturing activities to start when needed. In this role you will also be responsible for purchasing and all inbound material flows from suppliers to the point of need at the factory.

Your responsibilities

Being member of Induction Machines Management Team Monitoring available manufacturing capacity, making manufacturing scheduling decisions together with plant representatives, cooperating actively with manufacturing operations on manufacturing / assembly situation Ensuring material availability for commencing manufacturing based on delivery commitments – including component subcontractor co-operation Ensuring timely placing of purchase orders, ensuring receipt of order confirmations Developing purchasing and inbound material delivery processes, defining and monitoring results and leading indicator KPIs Developing warehouse-related processes, e.g. receipt, put away, kitting, stocktaking, etc., ensuring discipline in obeying agreed ways of working Organising packing and outbound delivery operations for finalized machines Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business

Your background

M.Sc. preferred on operations, manufacturing management, logistics, purchasing or similar Several years of experience in relevant manufacturing, logistics or operations roles Experience in managing a team Advanced knowledge in one of the following required: manufacturing, purchasing, inventory management, process management, logistics A high ability to manage with data and numbers, analytical mindset Good at using spreadsheet tools Fluent communication skills in Finnish and English Proficiency in Lean management and Six Sigma preferred and seen as assets
