JOB DESCRIPTION
The Country Delivery Manager Finland has primary responsibility for the delivery of SAP Consulting projects (Professional Services) in Finland in order to ensure successful implementation of our SAP SW, driving project delivery for high customer satisfaction and achieving the planned business value for our customers. The Country Delivery Manager, as part of local consulting management, shares the responsibility for the development and execution of business, financial and strategic objectives, and drives the maturity of the consulting practice and project/program managers. The Country Delivery Manager holds accountability for definition and execution of project delivery models, ensuring effective use of all consulting services and resources utilized from local, regional or global units as well as from third-party providers. Role is a key building the bridge from opportunity management (Service Sales) to Delivery. The Country Delivery Manager reports to Head of Services Finland and in dotted line to Head of Delivery Management Nordics.
 
EXPECTATIONS
Deals and Projects:
Proactive engagement in all key deals in Finland in tandem with Client Partners, ensuring all opportunities are "set up" for successful execution, plus personal engagement in all key customer projects in Finland. Core responsibilities are the deal shaping, effective use of consulting services and accelerators and contract reviews.
Escalations and Issues:
Managing all project based escalations and issues through to resolution, desirably in a manner where you are the escalation point and not the recipient of an escalation from senior management.
Project Portfolio:
Oversee the portfolio and working with the Nordic Market Unit on a continual improvement focus that drives deliveries to time, quality and budget both for clients and for SAP. This should include a systematic QA program across the project portfolio into all projects, participation in Steering groups or other governmental bodies at customers and finally timely risk mitigation of critical issues in projects/programs.
Change Agent:
Work with the Head of Delivery Management Nordics and for Finland as an agent of change, ensuring all project/program managers adopt strong use of company tools and consulting industry standards and best practices to achieve consistent results, plus be a supportive manager in working to improve delivery quality and skills. Be an active force in driving the execution of agreed transformations in Finland, when applicable.

Customer Satisfaction:
Ensure successful Project Delivery in order to secure customer success 
Consulting Revenue:
Achievement of revenue plans as set out in the budget process for our Consulting Services in Finland.
Consulting Profitability:
Achievement of profitability plans as set out in the budget process for our Consulting Services in Finland.
 
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
•    Business-oriented with strong deal shaping skills. 
•    Visionary and able to set directions for how SAP can ensure successful implementations of SAP SW.
•    Strong collaboration and coaching skills for defining implementation projects and for the subsequently implementation
•    Strong insight into project and program delivery and proven methodologies.
•    Capacity to lead and manage project/program managers by setting their agendas in collaboration with the Head of Services Finland and the Head of Delivery Management Nordics to drive change and delivery excellence.
•    Acting as a role model by setting the example for the project/program managers in the field being their mentor and career development agent. 
•    Proven track-record of leading consulting management professionals is required.
•    Willingness and ability to work in a virtual team with the EMEA Consulting Delivery Operations team as well as with the regional practice leads in managing the portfolio and change topics.
•    Strong negotiation skills and ability to effectively liaise with clients and partners at management and board level.
•    Business acumen preferred over SAP solution and implementation experience.
 
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
•    Master’s degree with extensive/several years’ experience in project delivery.
•    Hands-on experience in project management/delivery of end-to-end engagements.
•    PMI certification or similar preferred.
•    Line management experience preferred.
•    Experiences from consultancy practice preferred.
 
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Language: Finnish and English fluent, verbally and in writing.
Mobility: willingness to travel (up to 20%).
