You’ll join one of the frontend teams of 6 people, who will help you succeed in your new role. Together with the team, we develop the frontend side of the RELEX Plan product. You will help the team achieve this goal by developing a lot of high-quality front-end code, improving existing code, and some maintenance work. RELEX Plan is our flagship SaaS application with an advanced web-based user interface aimed at retail administrators. We are also fond of pair programming.   What you will be doing: Together with the team you will implement new features, improve and maintain the RELEX Plan product which is built in these technologies and tools:  <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;">React and other related libraries</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Custom D3 charts implementation</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Custom React reusable components library (with Storybook)</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Layers of tests in Jest, and Cypress</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Typed languages (TypeScript)</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Automated CI pipeline for tests and code style</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">REST API (API server layer built with JRuby and other parts of backend are implemented in Java)</li> </ul> Older parts of our codebase are written in Ember.js using a home-grown UI library, but we are aggressively renewing those parts with modern React and TypeScript.   What you’ll bring to the table: As a Frontend Developer: <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Strong knowledge and experience of JavaScript and DOM</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Strong knowledge and experience of React (or other reactive UI-libraries), and related best practices and tools and how they work</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Knowledge of typed languages</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Knowledge of CSS</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Knowledge of REST or other API standards</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Experience of building and maintaining web applications</li> </ul>   As a Senior Frontend Developer: In addition to the skills and knowledge above you’ll have: <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Strong knowledge and experience of TypeScript </li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Good knowledge of CSS, with experience of laying out complex UI’s</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Experience with big codebases to debug, improve, and maintain</li> </ul>   What we offer you in return: <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;">A flexible work environment where teams choose their own tools</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">A chance to have a meaningful impact from your work, in reducing food waste and improving supply chain effectiveness on a large scale</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Plenty of new opportunities in a growing company.
