F-Secure SENSE creates a secure network for your smart home, combining hardware and software in a unique way. It is an advanced, high speed secure router consisting of a physical device - the SENSE router - and a software app - the SENSE app. In this role you will contribute in ensuring we deliver a high-quality hardware and software product to our customers by designing and improving our test cases and also have the opportunity to contribute to develop our test automation system.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring product deliveries are done with a good quality assurance.
• Writing and maintaining test cases based on the product requirements.
• Assisting the team to executing test cases either manually or partially automated or fully automated.
• Raising, documenting and maintaining product defect reports.
• Participate in product release related activities (Testing, Documenting, Supporting).
• Collaborating across development teams and with stakeholders.

What are we looking for?

• Have a drive to learn and understand Quality Engineering practices.
• Interested to be involved in internet-of-things (IoT) technologies and its threat landscape.
• Have some basic knowledge knowledge about computer networking.
• Home basic knowledge on how to operate a mobile devices (Android, iOS) and home electronics (IoT devices, routers, switches).
• Comfortable in using command line interface to interact between multiple difference operating systems.
• Experienced in creating a script (Python, Bash) to automated some tedious work.

Bonus points

• Experienced in using a complex end-to-end continuous integration system.
• Experienced in network administration.
• Experienced in working with test automation.
