Together with the team, you ensure success throughout the entire M&A process - from scouting, due diligence, target setting, negotiation, deal closing, and post-acquisition follow up. You also serve as an expert when discussing and handling financial modelling, accounting, deal structuring and valuation.

By close collaboration with our business management and with functional experts, advisors and various key stakeholders, you ensure a comprehensive and thorough approach for each project - including oversight of workstreams and tasks. Additionally, your understanding of strategic objectives and the ability to collect information and draw conclusions, provide us with an early voice on success factors and risks that contribute to or affect our M&A activities.

In this position, you report to head of M&A at TietoEVRY. The corporate HQ is in Helsinki, Finland.

About You

We’re looking for someone with a commercial mindset and broad experience from working in roles closely connected to M&A. You have successfully managed M&A transactions – including deal analysis, negotiations and execution. Your previous career could include investment banking, private equity, consulting or M&A/corporate development roles within industrial companies. Any knowledge of the IT industry is of course beneficial. Additionally, you’re used to working in an international, dynamic setting, and you comfortably manage many internal and external stakeholders. We value a relevant degree within Business, Finance, Engineering or similar, and as we’re a global player, you also need excellent written and verbal skills in English.

Your systematic approach, high integrity and core business understanding are keys for this job – and you enjoy acting in a fast-paced environment where you need to prioritize and respond to changing demands from multiple sources. On top of this, you’re truly team and people oriented, and you easily build meaningful collaborations and strong networks both internally and externally.

We foresee that you have between 3 to 7 years of relevant experience.
