Wärtsilä Marine Power Solutions RDE, Automation & Controls is looking for Automation engineers, Embedded Controls. We are now looking for Automation engineers, embedded controls who gets exited in developing control systems. Your typical day will include
- Design and implementation of new functionality to our engine control systems with C/C++ or Matlab/Simulink e.g. fuel injection control, charge air pressure control, combustion control, communication protocols etc.
- Design, implementation, testing and verification of new features
- Validating control functionalities in simulated and production engines
- Maintenance and troubleshooting issues in production systems

Required Skills
- Master or Bachelor degree in Automation, Process engineering, Computer Science or similar
- Functionality development and simulation skills using Matlab/Simulink or C/C++ development skills preferably for embedded systems.
- Knowledge in agile development practises DevOps, especially continuous integration, automated testing and continuous delivery is a plus
- Good teamworking and communication skills are essential
- Fluency in verbal and written English, our everyday work language is mainly English
- Experience with the following seen as an advantage: Atlassian toolset & Git
- Skills in data science and/or Python is a plus
