We, in Detection and Response R&D (DRRD) unit, are looking for a Senior Manager, Portals. Our unit builds technologies for detection and continuous response against the most advanced cyber-attacks out there. The technologies we build are sold to different market segments in different forms -- either as pure-play software or as managed services.

Your role is to lead and manage creation of the customer-visible part of our solutions: Our portals or front ends. Detection & Response solutions are very much about collecting and analyzing data. Our portals allow customers to see the results of the analysis and can interact with the data. As we build solutions for multiple businesses and teams of security experts, a critical part of your work is to talk to stakeholders to understand their needs and to keep them aware of the expected schedule, risks, and progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Line management of a sub-unit consisting of two squads lead by lead developers. Team is located on three different sites in three countries.

• Member of DRRD Management Team

• Turning solution roadmaps into concrete tasks and features

• Making sure your plans are in alignment with the unit-level plan

• Manage the overall quality, timeliness and cost effectiveness of Portals work

• Keeping stakeholders updated on project progress, schedule and risks

What are we looking for?

• Previous 2+ years’ experience in managing software engineering teams

• Experience with Portals/Frontends development with Javascript/Typescript frameworks

• Experience with leading Agile development

• Understanding of software engineering best practices

• Team player with strong leadership skills

• Systematic and structured approach to management

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

• Proactive approach to communicating with stakeholders

• Basic understanding of cyber security in a business setting

• Entrepreneurial attitude

• Understanding of software architecture and public cloud technologies

• Scrummaster training/experience
