We are looking for a Trade Compliance Officer / Order Handling Specialist at ABB Oy, Distribution Solutions. Position is fixed-term replacement and will last until 30.6.2022. In this role, you will be responsible for Customs Compliance, export control and order handling. Your responsibilities

Trade compliance officer (TCO) is responsible in the Local Business for ensuring that all local business processes are aligned with ABB trade policies and guidelines. TCO guides accountable Local Business management in complying with trade related requirements as regards sanctions, export controls and customs compliance and in pursuing strategic trade objectives. TCO functions as single point of contact for trade related matters within the Local Business. Order Handling Specialist supports in commercial tasks as well as performs day-to-day operations (order processing, change management and creation of various export documentation) to ensure customer satisfaction by processing all customer related tasks timely and precisely. Interaction with external/internal stakeholders to ensure smooth customer service and sales processes.

Your background

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related major. A few years of experience in trade compliance role, specific focus on import/export regulations and export control compliance. Good knowledge of Customs regulations and procedures. Good knowledge of SAP/GTS (Global Trade Services). Fluent written and spoken communication skills in English and Finnish. Good teamwork and collaboration skills. Customer-focused mindset and ability to respond quickly to customer needs. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. Work experience in Customer service/Order management is beneficial.
