We are seeking for Business Technology Sourcing Advisors to join the Sourcing & Supplier Management team.  

We manage – plan & design, execute and lead – our customers strategic sourcing and supplier management development initiatives and projects. At Sofigate we develop Sourcing and Supplier Management with end-to-end perspective: from Business Technology design and strategy know-how to successful project implementation and furthermore to effective service transformation and transition. The success factors in our team are the people with drive, Business Technology best practices and sourcing and supplier management tools. 

Foremost, we are seeking candidates with attitude of developing oneself in the areas of modern sourcing and implementing the latest practices, methods and tools of sourcing into use.  

Your work is mainly done at our customers. In most cases, you will have a project manager role in the areas of strategic sourcing and strategic supplier management – in the sourcing and supplier management strategy creation, sourcing operations and supplier management development, project planning and sourcing execution. A common assignment for our team is to lead the planning and execution phases of strategic sourcing projects focusing on aligning customer’s information technology, customer’s business, and vendors together for creating true value for the end customer. 

To be successful in this position, you should have at least 5 years of experience from IT Project Management, Technology, Supply Chain Management, Strategic Sourcing or similar areas (see details below). As the most important factor, you should have the true thirst for knowledge and developing yourself to be always up-to-date of the supply market and have the capabilities to source, evaluate, and communicate the best-fit solutions to our customers’, from CXO level to operative level. The key to success is to have a strategic and holistic approach of finding best-fit solutions, not only from the sourcing perspective, but from a business demand viewpoint for achieving the true value of strategic sourcing. 

What skills & capabilities you should possess: 
Senior Advisor -level: 

• 5-10+ years of experience in the related field (e.g. IT management, Supply Chain Management, Strategic procurement and sourcing) 
• 3+ years of consulting experience preferred 
• Broad experience in various IT services sourcing preferred 
• Experience in sourcing performance development preferred 
• Hands-on experience in creating contracts and contract terms 
• Great communication and presentations skills in Finnish and in English
• Extensive knowledge and experience from strategic sourcing cases (usually an interest to focus on some specific area of services, but not necessarily) 
• Ability and willingness to teach, support, and lead junior level colleagues to increase their knowledge and maturity level in sourcing and supplier management 
• Self-driving attitude and capabilities of maintaining and developing their professional knowledge, capabilities, work-abilities (also health) to succeed also in more demanding projects
