Demand for public cloud solutions is growing rapidly. To achieve sustainable business benefits, these solutions need to be combined with transformation and management capabilities. To cater for this need, we have launched a strategic initiative to build a centre of excellence with over 50 certified Google Cloud and Business Technology professionals.

As a next step, we are looking for a Lead Cloud Architect (Google Cloud). Your role is to guide Sofigate customers in their cloud journey by defining, implementing and optimising solutions based on Google Cloud Platform. You will grow to support and challenge our customers to find the best possible solutions and utilise them effectively to solve business challenges and seize new opportunities. You will provide technical architecture and design leadership, build strong delivery teams and act as a coach for the team members.As a key person in our public cloud team you will play a major role in developing our public cloud business and services and contribute to major customer cases from beginning to end.

We expect you to have strong experience in designing and building Google Cloud Platform solutions. We value strong customer orientation and ability to work with a diverse group of colleagues and customers. More specifically, we would like you to have:

• Expert-level knowledge of Google Cloud Platform
• Passion for new technologies
• Experience in solution architecture creation, especially in cloud-native solutions and migrating existing solutions to cloud
• Experience in designing and implementing landing zone architectures
• Experience in Big Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning is considered an asset.
