University of Helsinki offers a Trainee Programme for our international master students. You are eligible to apply if you are an international student enrolled in a University of Helsinki master programme.

We are now looking for a TRAINEE for Student Recruitment and Marketing team in Communications and Community Relations.

Your main tasks as a trainee is to edit texts and pictures to produce core content for the Helsinki.fi web site and the student recruitment purposes. You will work in close collaboration with the marketing specialist team. You will be in a key role in web site editing project.

We expect you to have a capability to handle and edit texts and pictures for the web site. You will need good interpersonal skills and fluency in English. Drupal, open source platform for building digital experiences, and photo editing skills are seen as an advantage as well as text editing experience. You will need to be enrolled to one of the University of Helsinki’s international master’s degree programmes.

We will offer you
- an opportunity to learn about technical creation of the web sites and content production
- training, guidance and feedback that will develop you as a web site editor
- an opportunity to learn how a top university attracts students through content marketing.

The duration of a traineeship is 1 September to 31 December 2021 (four months) of part-time (50%) work, leaving time for studies as well. The salary of a trainee is €700 per month for a part-time (50%) trainee.
