STRATEGIC PURCHASER
 

In this role you will be able to work in a genuinely international environment with award-winning, high tech products. We are curious to seek out and develop new ideas in order to better serve our customers and employees, continuously improving what we do and how we do it. In our procurement department, you will be part of AGCO global purchasing working alongside experts in their field.

What You Will Do
As a strategic purchaser you will be responsible for domestic and international supplier networks within your nominated commodity area. You will develop our purchasing according to our company's procurement strategy, participating to supplier meetings and contract negotiations.  Your responsibilities include new product projects from a purchasing point of view, the development of supplier co-operation and the competitive cost level of your own purchasing area. You will be working closely with Quality, Product Development and Material Handling departments.

What You Will Bring

• Experience in global purchasing, particularly valued is experience in serial production purchasing.
• Relevant education in the field of Logistics or Industrial Engineering and Management
• Good Excel skills
• Strong negotiation and communication skills in English and good in Finnish

A Plus If You Have

• Experience of ERP-system, preferably of SAP
