Your key responsibilities:

• Raise Elisa's design maturity
• Lead and develop Elisa's design community
• Support designers’ professional growth and development opportunities
• Guide designers towards lean, innovative and meaningful work practices
• Help us improve Elisa's design tools, processes and metrics
• Join in developing and implementing an impactful design vision and strategy
• Participate in building seamless user experiences for millions of Elisa's consumer and corporate customers
• Identify needed design skills and organise recruitments to fill the gaps

To success, you have an 8+ years experience in:

• Leading, managing and scaling design operations
• Building communities and cultivating practices of sharing and collaboration
• Creating a collaborative and supportive atmosphere for success and failure
• Building, leading and managing design operations or cross-functional teams
• Driving the team towards excellence and helping raise the quality of craftmanship
• Thinking big and acting small - getting things done

You are an enthusiastic team player with excellent social skills, equipped with a suitable Master's degree.

This position is located in Elisa’s HQ in Pasila (Helsinki).
