The Underground Drilling Technical Service’s Training Academy has a unique opportunity for a Training Engineer to support our Sales Area colleagues and customers to achieve highest productivity targets. This position is based at our global technology and manufacturing center for drilling equipment in Tampere, Finland. Your mission – hands on trainer with a strong driller background

You plan, design, and provide operator trainings for our Sales Areas and customers virtually and in person with our Digital Driller family simulators and with drilling equipment at customer work sites. You also participate time to time in challenging rig commissioning events.

Your background and what we find important

You have a suitable technical education (e.g. B.Sc.) with relevant work experience in mining companies, tunneling contractors or technical support and training of heavy machinery. You also have a good comprehension of entire drilling cycle from planning to execution and reporting. Since you act as a technical and operator trainer, you also possess basic knowledge in automation, electrics, hydraulics, and mechanics. You have a good understanding of modern learning techniques and methods. We are looking for a person with good interpersonal, cooperation, communication, and presentation skills. You are getting inspired working in multi-cultural environment. You communicate fluently in English and other languages are a considered a benefit.
