We are looking for Supplier Quality Engineer at ABB Oy, IEC LV Motors factory in Vaasa. Your main role is to be an active and co-operative driver between ABB and focus suppliers ensuring continuous quality development. The key target is to ensure high quality performance of the suppliers. You work in close co-operation with quality, production, product development, purchasing and SCM. We offer you an interesting position in a professional and supportive team and the opportunity to develop your skills in an international environment. In this role you will report to Quality Manager.

Your responsibilities

Developing and supporting selected suppliers to achieve conformance with ABB requirements and continual improvement in quality (Supplier development projects) Monitoring and reporting supplier performance Participating auditing and qualifying Suppliers Owning and executing new critical component approval process (PPAP including sample approvals) Owning and developing supplier claim process Participation of division level supplier quality tool and process development Representing the Voice of the Suppliers in our local organization

Your background

M.Sc. or B.Sc. in engineering (e.g. industrial, mechanical or electrical engineering) At least few years applicable experience from quality, manufacturing or supply chain management Proven track record about development projects Knowledge of quality tools and manufacturing methods Excellent co-operation and problem solving skills Good written and oral Finnish and English skills, other than English language skills is considered as a benefit. Good IT-skills, including SAP is considered as extra benefit
