Software Engineer

In our Electrics and Electronics design team you will work as part of AGCO's global product development. Our team takes care of embedded software development for Valtra tractors. If you are professional, experienced and motivated to join team working with next generation vehicle architecture, this can be a real opportunity to you.

What You Will Do 

• Specify and implement in-vehicle APIs
• Design solutions with teams physically located in other countries
• Develop, debug, and maintain software
• Assist with system engineering to ensure a holistic system implementation
• Write robust code, including tests on different levels
• Apply automation techniques for automation of the whole software lifecycle process
• Work in an agile setup within a scrum team

What You Will Bring 

• Demonstrated proficiency in C/C++ as programming language
• Knowledge of software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Experience with typical Bus systems (CAN, Ethernet, 100baseTX / 100baseT1)
• Ability to address and resolve complex issues with an objective, fact-based and professional approach
• Proven track record to build trust with stakeholders and lead by influence
• Strong ability to work successfully in multi-national teams, intercultural open and confident in appearance

A Plus If You Have 

• Experience with safety related embedded applications
• Experience with RTOS and Linux systems
• Experience in Model based Architecture design
• Experience in service-oriented architecture
• Experience and/or a strong interest in automotive & agricultural machinery
• Experience with typical high-speed in-vehicle communication protocols (e.g. DDS, SOME/IP)
• Demonstrated proficiency in multiple programming languages
• Experience with PREEvision or Capital
• Experience in agile collaboration
