IT SPECIALIST

to a permanent job at IT department in a Nordic team.

IT specialist will be working as an experienced specialist at 3^rd level IT team in versatile environment and responsibilities. Your job is driven by business need to ensure the current IT systems and operations continuity and support as well as IT systems and capabilities development for future business environment.

In a 3^rd level the job includes coordination of incidents and problems escalated from the 1^st and 2^nd level support services. You will have an excellent background support as external IT services and technology vendor agreements and co-operation are in place to help you to find root causes for each case. In this position, you will coordinate both internal and external parties work to find solutions in most challenging cases.

Your role is also to create and maintain guidelines on how systems are used alongside how they are operated in Saint-Gobain’s way of using and managing information systems. These tasks include but are not limited to documentation of IT related processes on how systems are used, supported, operated and further developed to meet business expectations all the time.

Saint-Gobain’s business is developing continuously, thus there is a need to explore new IT technologies, products and services to better support the business. Coordination of new IT systems and services development and deployment in the area of infrastructure services is part of your job. Your task is to understand opportunities of the new technology and translate those to business language in Saint-Gobain.

We expect candidates to have

• business oriented attitude towards the way of working, prioritization and co-operation
• understanding of corporate level IT infrastructure architecture, systems and services
• experience from Microsoft based on-premise and cloud/Saas services like Active directory, Windows servers and workstations, Exchange, M365, eg
• knowledge of ITIL processes specially from incident and problem management
• basic knowledge of project management practices and methods
• customer service and solution oriented attitude as well openness and willingness to discuss with wide audience from end users to offshore delivery centers and from IT vendors to company top management
• good documentation and communication skills
• fluent English language skills both written and spoken, one or more Nordic languages are considered as an advantage
