ABOUT THE ROLE

As Ultimate’s first in-house Content Writer, you’ll have an exciting opportunity to join the marketing team and get involved in every aspect of the content ideation and creation process. And it’s a wonderful time to join, as we kick off an extensive rebrand in line with our recent round of fundraising and entry into the US market! This means you will help shape the brand’s written identity, take ownership of executing key content projects and work closely with both marketing and other departments to deliver on shared goals. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Craft strong written content that drives product education and brand inspiration across our site and blog
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams and the marketing team to write and edit copy that clearly communicates our tech expertise and product differentiation
  • Optimize and repurpose new and existing content - from landing pages to blog posts - to increase reach and ensure strong engagement for search and social
  • Make your mark on our brand by implementing a more distinctive tone of voice across all written comms, while ensuring all created content is on-brand and consistent in terms of style and quality

ABOUT YOU

  • 2-3 years of experience in copy, content, journalism or a related marketing field
  • Strong communicator with excellent written English (Level C2), a passion for words and an adaptable tone of voice  
  • Proven ability to craft SEO-friendly and social-friendly content that distils complex technical topics into conversational copy 
  • Interest in and/ or experience with copywriting or content marketing in B2B, tech or Saas environments 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to collaborate effortlessly with technical internal teams (Product, Customer Success) on content projects big and small
  • Experience handling multiple content projects at once e.g. short product-focused blog content, multimedia landing pages and longer-form ebook content
  • Passion for moving fast, embracing risks and taking the initiative (startup life is fast-paced but rewarding!)
