Elisa Data & Analytics department is responsible for development of large scale analytics to various Elisa’s business needs. We value the data and we are focused on learning how to serve our customers better and want to produce experiences in our customers’ everyday life.

We’re looking for a Big Data/ML Architect for the Elisa Data & Analytics team to work together with our talented Architect, Data Engineers and Scientists.

Your main project would be leading the development of Elisa’s internal datalake and Machine Learning platform, designing and implementing integrations between different systems and engineering many kinds of solutions for data handling and machine learning. These complex systems require skills from data integration and strong coding experience.

What we expect from you:

• An enthusiasm and a desire to take responsibility for the progress of projects and get things done in a challenging and diverse work environment
• Experience in data & analytics architectures, technologies, and data lake, data warehouse, advanced analytics platform, machine learning and artificial intelligence.
• Strong linux skills and platform management experience
• Good understanding of cloud technologies
• Proficiency in modern software development technologies, at least some of the following: Java, Python, Ansible/Puppet/etc., Docker, Kubernetes, REST, Kafka and SQL.
• The ability for both independent planning and decision-making
• Good interactive skills and fluent proficiency in English
