With a proud tradition of more than 150 years of pioneering solutions, our Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions business concept is based on innovation, technology leadership and customer relationships. To keep up with our vision and values, our ambition is to always drive important shifts and advance the world through engineering - aiming for nothing but excellence in all our operations.

At Procurement Solutions, we support all divisions within business area Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions with processes and tools for procurement. As we’re driving digitalization and a seamless flow for our Source to Pay (S2P) processes, we’re looking for a Source to Pay Process Specialist to join our team – someone who’s comfortable with procurement processes, has a knack for systems and who thrives when being in the spotlight. Here, you get to work in a rewarding and challenging position with the true power to influence both your own role and our processes, all in a global and truly exiting environment.

Your mission
The core of this role is to maintain, develop and implement effective processes and system support to generate a seamless flow for all our S2P related processes. While competence and interest of the full S2P process is an advantage, the main focus for this role initially is within the transactional/operational purchase to pay process (P2P). To achieve this, you set – and constantly revise - requirements for the organization and contribute to the development of our digital tools and processes. You make sure that systems are up and running, and that everyone has the information and knowledge needed to utilize them to their fullest extent. You’re also supporting the implementation of systems and processes globally.

Working proactively, you analyze trends within the systems to pinpoint areas of improvement. Another important part of this role is participating in projects as a subject-matter expert, where you support and test systems to ensure functionality and knowledge sharing. Naturally, working with KPI’s, follow-ups and digitalization is also part of the assignment.

This position is preferably located in Turku, Finland, while our offices in Tampere (Finland), Dublin (Ireland) or Stockholm (Sweden) may also be an option.

Your character
We’re looking for someone with at least three years’ experience from working within procurement processes, including the systems and requirements behind the process. You’re used to working in a digitalized environment and, naturally, experience from working with S2P platforms and system requirements is highly beneficial. You’ll interact with our business stakeholders globally within Sourcing, Purchasing and Finance. Other important stakeholders and business partners are the IT department, as well as the external system providers of our digital solutions. We believe you have a degree within Economics or Engineering and, since we act in a truly global environment, you’re fluent in both written and verbal English.

Your personality really matters to us. You have a proactive and structured approach - always on the lookout for new improvements and more effective ways of working. With a growth mindset, you easily take initiative to get things going. You know what it takes to work in a global context, and you effortlessly communicate with all involved parties to ensure solid relationships and sharing of both knowledge and information.
