We are looking for a Service Engineer at ABB Oy, Motion Services, in Pirkkala or Turku. Your tasks include project deliveries, service, repair and commissioning of frequency converters. As most of the work will be done in customers’ premises, you must be willing to travel. This role reports to the Profit Center Manager. We offer you the possibility to learn new and to become an expert in drives. This is an interesting and independent role in which you get to work closely with ABB customers. You will receive induction and training based on your previous experience and support to your professional growth.

Your responsibilities

Project deliveries, service, repair and commissioning of frequency converters mainly in customer sites both in Finland and abroad Co-operation with the support network stakeholders in Finnish and English

Your background

A relevant education degree, such as Engineer or Technician related to electrical or automation engineering Knowledge of MS Office, Windows and industrial communication protocols Customer oriented, flexible, positive and pragmatic way of working Ability to listen to the customer and make quick decisions, when needed Fluent written and spoken Finnish and English skills Willingness to travel (mostly in Finland), driver’s license, and the possibility to use your own car Familiarity with ABB technology, especially DC drives, is considered an advantage. Experience with SAP, automation control hardware and software programming are also considered as advantages Experience in process industry project deliveries and frequency converters are considered as advantages
