BCC Controller
Wärtsilä Business Control Centre is a virtual organisation whose primary responsibility is operative controlling across all functional areas and product lines within Wartsila. The WBCC working environment is internationally orientated. Wärtsilä offices can be found all over the world. Many different nationalities, languages and cultures are involved.

We are looking for a BCC controller for Agreements functional in Europe.

Responsibilities

As Controller, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Support operational controlling of the organization to achieve KPI’s, i.e. WIP monitoring, margin analysis, training on Wartsila procedures, order book quality, other.
  • Provide business insight to management for decision making.
  • Manages, analyses and ensures the data quality in business revenue streams to ensure the correct financial reporting and following of Wärtsilä guidelines.
  • Provides feedback to the organization on ways of working and helps to resolve operational gaps in the organisations’ processes and actively challenge convention where there could be a need to improve processes.
  • Acts as an expert within own area of expertise, trains others and actively seeks to improve processes and tools.
  • Responsible to perform the internal control steps for Order to Cash in Smart Close linked to WBCC. Refer to Internal control’s documentation for more details.

BCC Controller provides pre-defined reporting to stakeholders (management teams and departments). BCC Controller takes an active role supporting stakeholders by proactively identifying and communicating risks, provides sound financial analysis when required and communicates complex matters in a simple way.

Requirements

  • Finance education M.Sc. (Econ.)
  • Minimum 5 years of Finance exp.
  • Experience in SAP FI/CO/CS/PS, QlikView is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and international accounting principles.
  • Very Good understanding of financial accounting and internal reporting.
  • Change management skills, driving changes as requested.
