We are looking for a Solution Consultant to join our Professional Services Team in Germany!


The Solution Consultant will provide technical leadership in the design, configuration and implementation of our solutions and related technologies to our customers.

The position requires the ability to execute projects both independently and in conjunction with other consultants and partners, as well as Efecte technical teams, such as Cloud Ops, to successfully set up the SaaS platform, and to implement high-quality technical solutions based on industry best-practices and complex business- and technical requirements.

Solution Consulant role at Efecte includes leading workshops to gather business/technical requirements and consulting customers on industry and Efecte best practices. You will lead and own all technical aspects of project and solution delivery including application UI configuration, workflow configuration, development of client specific reporting and customer specific integration components. In this role you will be a key member of the overall implementation project team and prepare all client facing and internal deliverables that are technology related. Solution consultant is part of driving the continuous improvements of our implementation methodology and service offerings based on client experiences. On top of this, you'll get a chance to travel!


Wanted qualifications for this role:

  • Proven consulting experience as a key technical resource leading the development and delivery of ITSM solutions such as ServiceNow, BMC, Cherwell or others in client environments.
  • 5+ years working in the ITSM or IT services/consulting industry
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management and ITIL, minimum ITIL Foundation certified, ideally higher.
  • Knowledge of technical components such as LDAP, VPN, SSL, SAML and other such technologies
  • Proven team player
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Although based in Germany, due to the international reach of the role the successful candidate is expected to speak fluent English.

 

Skills which make you even more successful in this role:

  • Technical skills for installing software on Linux and SQL are an advantage
  • Scripting skills (e.g. Python) are an advantage
  • Solid presentation skills
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, customer centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversity
  • Ability to work independently
