Right now, we’re looking for an experienced Frontend Developer to join our team!

You'll be working across the entire Holvi product

As a Frontend Developer at Holvi, you’ll be crafting the future of our product from a design-driven perspective. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Product, Marketing and Creative to help develop a world-class experience for our customers.

A typical day could see you:

• Participating in the design and implementation of business logic relating to Holvi's web interface (including styling)
• Doing reviews and verifying the new features together with a multinational, talented development team
• Planning the product's future together with a product owner, designers and a team of engineers
• Jumping into discussions in areas that interest you – Holvi isn't corporate, and you're not constrained to one area only
• Learning something new! Be it on tech side or how fintech can improve customers' work lives

Your home will be in Development

We’re not your traditional old-fashioned bank. Quite the opposite, actually. As a modern tech company, our backend applications are built on Python. You can expect no hard-coded or pre-set rules on how to do your job. But you should be ready to challenge existing solutions and create new ones from scratch.

Our team is small but mighty, and you’ll have the power to influence everything Holvi pushes out to our end-users. Do you like putting user experience at the core of your development efforts and solving real customer problems? If so, Holvi might be for you.

Holvi’s developers are known for making the impossible possible. Our culture is built on respect and low hierarchy. We have a holistic view on development, where all our developers play an essential role in decision making.

• You have solid experience in frontend web development and know the philosophy behind several Javascript frameworks
• You like to work with Vue, and are familiar with AngularJS
• You love building software and are always looking for ways to improve your work
• You have an eye for visual details
• You're fluent in English, both spoken and written

It's a bonus if you've ever worked with automated end-to-end testing and financial engineering, but this isn't strictly necessary. Experience working in the world of entrepreneurship is also a plus!

Logistics

• This role is remote until safe to return to the office, then you can continue to work remotely or from one of our offices in Helsinki or Berlin. For fully remote work you can also be located in one of the following countries BE/ES/LT as an employee or work as a freelancer from any other EU/EEA country
• We offer flexible working hours with core office hours between 10.00 and 15.00 local time
