We are looking for a Senior Specialist, Supplier Lifecycle Management who will own and continuously develop SAP Ariba upstream digital solution, and optimize source to contract business processes. The location of the position is in Tampere, Finland or Wrocław, Poland.

What you will do

  • Act as the global functional subject matter expert for SAP Ariba SLP module functionalities and solutions

  • Manage, oversee and support in the day-to-day operations of own functional area by bringing senior level expertise and advice

  • Support global process owner to optimize, automatize and industrialize business processes with the digital solutions

  • Participate in the business project(s) as a functional subject matter expert for further application of the digital solution

  • Gather, document, assess and prioritize business requirements for technology in use and process improvement; perform system configuration; prepare testing activities, including system integration, migration and issue resolution; develop the solution functionalities.

  • Participate in preparing key performance indicators (KPIs) for own area of expertise. Analyze performance against KPIs. Analyze data and take continuous improvement activities based on indicators. Provide reporting and expertise for management.

  • Lead development initiatives (e.g. Qualification concept), guide and influence others in own area of expertise

  • Maintain process descriptions and ensure trainings and documentation of own process area’s solutions are up to date. Conduct knowledge transfer and training of end-users, including sharing of best practices.

  • Communicate and co-operate proactively and independently in own responsibility area with other organizations and teams

  • Build a well-functioning partnership with key UPM stakeholders & key supplier (SAP Ariba)

Who you are

  • You have at least a Master’s degree or other relevant professional qualification in related area

  • You have at least 3 years of work experience in source to contract process area i.e. strategic sourcing or/& supplier relationship management. Master Data management and/or system experience is considered as an asset

  • You have experience of some e-sourcing tools. Experience of SAP and SAP Ariba is considered as an asset

  • Designing, building and maintaining Java-based applications & websites is considered as an asset

  • You are fluent in English. Additionally, skills in other languages relevant in UPM major markets are considered an asset

  • Experience from working in a global sourcing and/or procurement organization is considered as an asset

  • You are a proactive, service-oriented person with strong communication and influencing skills

  • You have collaboration and team-working skills with flexible and positive attitude for changes

  • You have self-management skills and are not afraid to take initiative and challenge the status quo

  • You have solid experience in Procure-to-Pay end-to-end process and solutions development, design and deployment
