Broadband Data Mediation Team at Telia

Broadband Data Mediation Team is part of Telia Group IT Organization. This team is the IT solution owner for collection, mediation, and processing of the data from telecom network, IT infrastructure, inventory systems and other data stores. These data are critical for Telia’s business and used for service assurance, network investment planning, crowd analytics, business customer product offering, etc.

These solutions provide data flows and report to both internal users and external customers. We are clearly heading toward innovations like cloud, serverless, AI and machine learning and by joining us you will join team of passionate and technology-oriented people.

Is this your next opportunity?

As a Performance Management Architect, you design performance management solutions for network infrastructure and network services based on the stakeholder business requirements withing Telia. You support stakeholders in analysing and translating the business requirements (capabilities) into solution requirements (features and user stories) that can be fulfilled by the Network Big-Data Data Mediation DevOps team. You also support Data Mediation Solution Architecture in defining the Road Map based on the evolving demands in the area of Network Services Performance Management.

Tasks within the Broadband Network Big-Data Data Mediation team:

• Development of Active and Passive PM-data Use Cases and Blueprints in collaboration with the stakeholders
• Product Owner role in the PM area within the Broadband Network Big-Data Data Mediation team
• Maintaining the team Service Portfolio towards stakeholders and data consumers
• Supporting IT Production OSS Architecture initiatives with PM domain knowledge
• Supporting the PM domain Use Case CAPEX/OPEX forecasting

• Forward thinking, proactive and have excellent analytical skills and the ability to provide alternative solutions to technical problems
• A proactive team player, able to coach team and drive for the continuous improvement
• Hands-on experience from development and coding of data driven applications
• Very good understanding of the potential of modern IT architecture when it comes to real time data analytics
• Good understanding of data privacy and security
• A desire to see others grow with the help of your coaching and a positive personality that inspires others
• Proven track record of fruitful sw development projects possibly in Agile ad DevOps teams
• Good English skills, both written and oral, since that is the language we use all day, every day

Methodology and tools required are:

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• IP network knowledge (SNMP, Telemetry, Data Networking)
• Telecom broadband backbone network knowledge
• Experience on product management on data platform with performance measurement data is a plus
• Knowledge on Business networking product such as L2VPN, L3VPN is an advantage
