Join Eficode and become an expert in modern software development while working on interesting projects. Currently our Managed Services APP team is looking for new talent to join our team in Helsinki.

The team takes care of numerous customer projects. We do everything from full stack software development to server and cloud environment maintenance to hosting modern DevOps tooling. We work with a wide range of different technologies. On the application side, at least JavaScript (Node.js), Python, Java and Ruby will definitely come in handy when working here. On the DevOps side we daily operate e.g. with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible and Google Cloud Platform, AWS and Azure. Our development work is not only focused on writing code: Test Automation and Continuous Deployment create the basics for high quality, maintainable software. 

In practice, we work at Eficode’s office in Kamppi (or remotely). Our main aim is to achieve happy customers and robust systems. It all starts from a well-functioning team: the team is a great bunch of professionals with different specialities functioning together so that no one is left alone. The tasks within the team are varied, so you can define the direction of development. Our ideal candidate is someone who actively seeks solutions to customer’s needs and implements and communicates them effectively.  

These are some of the skills we are looking for: 

• Programming skills in Java, React, NodeJS or Ruby.
• General knowledge on databases, especially SQL. 

• Modern software engineering skills like using version control, configuration management, test automation, virtualization, continuous integration and agile methods
• We also hope for Docker, Kubernetes, cloud and DevOps skills
• Good communication skills in English and Finnish
• Initiative, vision and team spirit

We are primarily looking for full time employees, but can also offer opportunities to students, who can work with us part time (at least 3 days a week).
