We are looking for an experienced, forward-leaning, and delivery-oriented SAFe Product Manager who will play an important role in leading the department Cloud & Infrastructure to the next levels in our SAFe implementation.

Cloud & Infrastructure is a department in Telia IT with around 200 employees. We operate cross border in Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Estonia, and Lithuania, offering cloud and infrastructure. Our technology teams operate in all countries and consist of people from several countries. The SAFe Product Manager position is in Solution Office, a unit that supports Cloud & Infrastructure with cross functional roles like SAFe coaches, SAFe roles, domain architects, solution designers, finance support, delivery managers and delivery administrators.

The inflow of requests to IT Cloud & Infrastructure is higher than ever. At the same time, we transform our infrastructure with new technology and help application teams to move to public clouds. This means that we have great opportunities but also tough demands to handle. Therefore, we see the need to strengthen our SAFe program team with an additional SAFe Product Manager.

Is this your next challenge?

As a SAFe Product Manager, you will be instrumental in the success of Cloud & Platform’s agile release train. Most of our large deliveries needs participation from our 13 teams. Our agile release train with related ceremonies are vital to succeed with the deliveries. Over time, we see that most activities will be part of the release train. You will handle stakeholder dialogues, support product owners, ensure that product owners and teams can manage dependencies in deliveries, and support with planning and prioritization. In parallel, together with the rest of the program team, you will drive the change journey to evolve the release train, implementing necessary SAFe tools and methods.

Our stakeholders are Telia internal application teams, product teams etc. A large part of the job will be to understand our stakeholders’ needs and, together with them, formulate minimum viable products. Our stakeholders are often running complex programs that will roll out target applications in all countries. Understanding and agreeing on roll out plans and what is most important amongst all requirements, is vital.

You will work closely with the rest of the program team, which consists of a Release Train Engineer, a Solution Architect, and a Product Manager. Our two SAFe coaches will help you to break new grounds. You will also work closely with our Product Owners, Solution Designers and Delivery Managers. Your role is a “spider in the web” role, where collaboration and communication will be key. Seeing the larger picture for Cloud & Infrastructure services comes natural for you, since you collaborate with all managers, product owners & teams the majority of your time. They own the details, but you see the whole puzzle.

• You have extensive agile experience, either as a coach, product owner, scrum master, leader, or project manager. Especially important is agile leadership skills. You have experience of SAFe.

• You love to improve ways of working and find creative ways of solving problems.

• You have experience working with IT development and/or development planning.
