We are looking for an Assistant Controller/Controller to join the Wärtsilä Energy Business, Finance & Control department. Position is permanent and located in Vaasa, Finland. Beginning of the employment would start as soon as possible but in any case within August 2021.
 
What will you be doing:
Assistant Controller/Controller, Financial Business Support is accountable for internal FX hedging, receivables and incoming cash flow related reporting as well as providing financial business support to other departments within the organization. We are looking for an innovative expert who is able to develop our reporting and FX hedging related operations.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have: 

• MSc in Finance, Economics or Business Administration (or equivalent) with a solid financial working experience in global setting 
• Knowledge and experience from most of the following: SAP, Excel, treasury function, financial accounting, FX hedging, internal reporting and controlling  
• Good influencing and negotiation skills with ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing 
• Development oriented working approach to ensure continuous development of operative controlling 
• Good literacy and communication skills. Able to express complex matters in fast, clear and understandable way in writing. Interest and ability to communicate clearly and consistently 
• Good interpersonal and team working skills. Positive attitude and pro-active thinking, initiative taking, self-going, fast learner and flexible approach 
• Good command in English language. Knowledge on Robotic Process Automation as well as other language skills are seen as advantages.
