We are looking for a Portfolio Solution Consultant / Architect in our Business Application Design & Development offering area, responsible for growing our business and deepening our customer relations by working closely with our sales and account, design and delivery teams to bring the best Nordcloud has to offer into the hands of our customers. This specific offering area is on a mission to help organizations become winners in digitalization much faster than ever with leaner investments. We reveal the actual value of being cloud-native.

Your daily work

• You are solving complex client challenges utilizing your deep knowledge of cloud-native business application design & development.
• You engage customers with your inspiring pitches yet actively listen to their wants & needs.
• You write crisp, straightforward proposals which explain the value we provide to customers' business.
• You work with our practice, offering, and product leaders to identify their content's proper tailoring and extension for market success.
• You proactively support our offering & product leaders in developing a roadmap and setting priorities.
• You coach our sales, design, and delivery teams in key engagements to follow our value promise.
• Describing the structure, characteristics, behavior, and other aspects of the software to project stakeholders.
• Defining features, phases, and solution requirements.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Several years of experience contributing to complex proposals and presenting to clients, from early stages to closing. You apply a challenger approach to solution sales to initiate and lead customer dialogue with business and IT stakeholders.
• Several years of hands-on, cloud-focused experience in software development finding the best solution among all possible ones to solve business problems or innovate new.
• Passion for increasing the understanding and sharing the knowledge of modern cloud-native technologies and how they can empower customers' business through software development.
• Fluent in discussing agile methods & frameworks as well as an understanding of DevOps.
• Capability to create trust among customers to deliver what you promise and provide valuable insight and solutions that impact their business.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
• Be a team player and target-oriented.
• Structured and analytical way of working.
• Excellent communication skills in both Finnish and English and readiness to travel (subject to covid).
