THE ROLE    

Do you want to build great cloud infrastructure in a vibrant, diverse, high energy team? Are you the new senior-level Project Manager we are looking for to join our team? As a project manager you will\:

• Analyze business needs to help ensure Oracle’s solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices and product knowledge.
• Effectively apply Oracle’s methodologies and policies while adhering to contractual obligations, minimizing Oracle’s risk and exposure. As a position of professional influence you frequently operate at the leading edge of technology.
• Recommend and justify enhancements to Oracle products to meet very complex customer needs.
• Exercise creativity and independent judgement in identifying and resolving major issues and risks impacting project success.
• Provide direction and mentoring to project teams.
• As a thought leader and trusted advisor, effectively influence decisions at the leadership level of customer organizations.
• Ensure customer deliverables are acceptable and work closely with the customer to understand and manage project expectations.
• Enable business development efforts by providing subject matter expertise. Manage the scope of medium to large-scale projects, and accounts with varying levels of complexity.

Technical Skills/Qualifications

• Several years of experience relevant to this position including 5+ years of direct project management experience executed as delivery project manager with project profitability responsibility
• Proven record of full lifecycle implementations of projects exceeding 500 days delivery effort
• Current PMI – PMP, Prince2 Practitioner or similar certification or similar skills.
• Knowledge of Agile project methodlogy is required. Hands-on experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Lead or Agile Coach, preferably within large organizations is considered as bonus.
• Demonstrated ability to follow solid project management principles and successfully manage projects of increasing complexity
• Experience in bid management with influencing and negotiation skills to deal with internal stakeholders, customers and vendors
• Proven experience in succesfully managing offshore teams.
