Giosg was founded in 2011 and has seen rapid growth in the last few years — Our current headcount is 60 wonderful giosgers! We’re headquartered in Helsinki, Finland and have local offices in Stockholm and the UK.

We are now looking for a skilled Finland based Frontend Developer to help us develop first-class products for our customers and end-users around the world. You will be placed in one of our product teams which focuses on our communication platform and mobile app products. The team consists of a Product Manager, Product Designer and talented software developers.

What kind of developer are we looking for? 

• You know React/TypeScript well and preferably have some mobile app development experience to keep the apps up-to-date
• It’s a definite plus if you have experience working with backend and knowledge of the other technologies we like to use: Python, RxJS, WebRTC, Django, Node.js and WebSocket. We like to run our microservices on top of our own k8s cluster and also heavily rely on Docker. We deploy new versions to production everyday without downtime.
• You value keeping your code clean and simple.
• You take ownership of your own work and pay attention to user experience and scalability.
• You are keen to learn new stuff constantly and keep up with the fast paced tech field. You also want to share your knowledge with the other developers.
• You have understanding and experience from agile working methods.
• You are a good communicator and a team player.
• Fluent in English.
