Consumer Services Development is a department inside Elisa’s Software Services unit, birthplace for Elisa’s digital consumer services like Elisa Viihde, Elisa Kirja and Epic TV. We innovate and create digital products on customer need in a sustainable way. We are talented team of Designers, Architects and Engineers who are supported by modern management.

Now we are looking for Product & Team Manager who has a passion to lead and coach the cross-functional team that builds and operates our content delivery platform. Content delivery platform is end-to-end service platform that provides video and audio experience for our streaming service users. Technically speaking it holds everything from content ingestion to cloud recording platform and content delivery network. To build our platform we use modern technologies, open source and best-of-breed software components, while spicing it with machine learning algorithms to ensure best possible experience.

Your mission:

• Develop product strategy of Elisa CDN and Viihde cloud recording platform together with our Design and Architecture team
• Lead the development team as Product Owner in collaboration with Elisa consumer business
• Manage content delivery team as a Line Manager with Line Manager’s responsibilities
• Collaborate with business and other stakeholders to understand the strategic focus areas and lead the team efforts accordingly
• Develop the processes and people together with the Head of Consumer Services Development

Your skills:

• Background in digital service development either as designer, developer or specialist
• Experience managing people as Line Manager
• Coaching skills and ability to develop diverse team of talents
• Experience in vendor management
• Experience in product management and agile software development
• Knowledge of Video Technology, CDN and Cloud Platforms
• Ability to communicate clearly in English
