We are currently looking for a Lead, Communication and Change Management to the Transformation Office in Telia IT. In this role, you will be part of shaping the future of Telia Company.

Telia Company is an IT intensive business, meaning that most of our customer experience flows through IT services. Telia IT has a critical role in our path to succeeding with the Telia Company vision and transformation objectives and to succeed we also need to transform our technology, our processes, and our culture.

In this role, you will leverage your experience in communication and people change management in supporting and motivating our people while we move through our transformation journey.

The role includes:

  • Drive help us execute and scale our transformation by driving engagement
  • Ensure a steady, coordinated, flow of consistent updates from all parts of our transformation cluster to our people
  • Track and report on the effectiveness of all communication channels and types that we are currently using and come up with innovative ways to improve our communication and engagement
  • Use relevant KPIs to monitor change progress in collaboration with the virtual change management office
  • Create presentation/communication content for Executive Management and other relevant foras and key people
  • Evolve and execute our communication strategy and plan.
  • Write, edit, and proofread communication materials.
  • Plan and participate in running events, seminars, workshops
  • Build long-term relationships with influencers and key stakeholders
  • Be an active participant in Telia’s virtual change management network
  • Coordinate and secure alignment of change management for initiatives driven within IT

As a Lead, Communication and Change Management, you have a passion for driving results, and you understand that solution and people adoption go hand in hand. You will be supporting the CIO and initiative leads so that Future-IT delivers on the overall objectives for Telia Company. You are structured, data-driven and a team player. You will be part of a high performing team working across all transformation initiatives, countries and units within Telia Company and exposed to our leadership team on critical topics.

Your personal competencies:

  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Strong in crafting communication material (e.g. PowerPoint) and in using different communication channels
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
  • Pragmatic, forward looking with a holistic approach
  • Able to work effectively at all levels in the organization
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
  • Good business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges

Your experience:

  • Experience from similar roles is a plus, but not required
  • Experience with the people perspective of large-scale organizational/technical change efforts
  • You know how to move people through change
  • Management consulting skills (e.g., workshop facilitation, stakeholder mgmt., storytelling)
