We are now looking for a Financial Controller, Biomoleculars to join our Financial Control team for a temporary position until 31 October 2022. The position is located in Tampere, Finland.

What you’ll do

  • Ensure the financial operations are compliant and on-time in your responsibility area. Coordinate and monitor the tasks performed by service providers and business process streams

  • Support and perform complex accounting, business and tax reporting and compliance related responsibilities, including financial closing, various analysis, internal controls and asset accounting

  • Ownership of data correctness, high quality and timeliness of all reporting and analysis in your responsibility area

  • Work closely with our internal stakeholders and external service providers. Ensure a well-functioning partnership with key stakeholders

  • Supporting the Biomolecular businesses and related projects in financial matters.

  • Implementation of process development initiatives, reporting changes and rule & regulation changes in your responsibility area

  • Take the initiative to continuously improve processes, systems and ways of working in own expertise area

Who you are

You are a self-directed finance professional with a solution-oriented mindset. Your analytical skills, record to report process understanding and prioritizing capabilities contribute to the success of the whole team.

  • You have at least a bachelor’s degree in finance, preferably in accounting, taxation or business administration

  • You have at least 3 years of work experience in accounting, taxation and reporting processes, including both management and financial accounting. Experience of Finnish statutory and corporate income tax reporting is considered as an asset

  • You have very good IT skills. In addition to normal MS Office tools, experience of SAP S/4, ETL tools, analytics and visualization tools such as PowerBI are considered as an asset

  • You have at least one year of experience in producing various financial analysis. You have the ability to understand and conceptualize complex processes and data flows

  • You have strong collaboration, influencing and team working skills with flexible, positive and proactive attitude towards changing and global work environment

  • You are fluent in English and Finnish
