F-Secure is searching for a Head of Marketing to join our Solutions Business Unit. We are looking for a commercial and creative thinker who can balance long-term strategic thinking with operational and executional excellence which delivers demonstrable ROMI. Working within a matrix structure, they will be experienced in managing across HQ and country marketing teams. Head of Marketing will sit on the Solutions Business Unit management team, reporting into the Solutions EVP. They will also sit on the Marketing MT, with a dotted line into the Chief Marketing Officer.

Key Responsibilities

To successfully land and build the new B2B Brand from a Solutions Business Unit perspective in our Target regions including Europe, UK, and the US.

To drive quality leads into the business, at an acceptable cost, to build the Solutions pipeline

To retain, develop, cross-sell and upsell into the existing base

To set the GTM global plan and overall budget, managing a team of multimedia content creators, digital, operational and Product Marketing experts, plus a dedicated marketing strategist

Direct regional marketing activity: guide and coach regional marketers to produce highly effective plans delivering ROMI; the Regional Marketers hold country OIT targets which there marketing plans are designed to achieve

In addition to managing the Regions, Head of Marketing collaborates with F-Secure’s central in-house agency, based in Helsinki, who assist with campaign production, corporate communication, PR, Martech, web designers and technical digital specialists

Function as a member of the Solutions Management Team (MT) representing both the Marketing, but also contributing actively on all MT topics

  • Set a clear vision and actionable path to achieve the ambitions of Solutions Marketing

Strategy & Planning

  • Full accountability for the Go To Market plan for Solutions marketing spanning Content, Digital strategy and implementation across web, PPC, SEO, Channel & Campaigns, Operations & Delivery, and critical initiatives to propel the Solutions BU forward
  • Owner of the Solutions Marketing budget both at HQ and Regional level
  • Guide and direct Regional plans to deliver local KPIs

Content

  • Set the brand for Content creation across the industry – be the envy of our competitors
  • Manage a team of expert content creators which meet the different objectives of Brand, Lead Generation and Customer
  • Create multimedia campaigns which drive engagement with Prospects and Customer meeting awareness, MQL and NPS measures
  • Develop a coherent contact strategy and next best action for Prospects
  • Establish a clear BAU Core plan for Brand, Lead Generation and Customer while exploring new routes to market (test & learn)
  • Work with the Communications team and other BUs to pool Content resources across the business
  • Work with the in-house agency to develop best in class campaigns which lift and separate the F-Secure brand, drive quality leads into the funnel and stickiness among the base

Digital

  • Oversee the development of an overarching Digital Strategy
  • Management of individual country channel strategies for core regions
  • Use data and analytics to continuously shape and optimise plans
  • Work closely with other BUs to develop complimentary not conflicting plans

Operations & Delivery

  • Oversee the execution of HQ Content and Digital campaigns on time, on budget
  • Ensure Regional Marketers, Sales and key stakeholders within Solutions buy in to the plans

Critical Initiatives

  • Drive new medium to long-term thinking beyond BAU which drives Solutions forward. Look to test, evaluate, adapt and scale
  • Implement any experimentation mindset within the team and for it to become BAU

Data & Analytics

  • Ensure all key decisions are anchored and evidenced through data
  • Own the reporting of Marketing Performance reporting and the analytics framework using SalesForce as our primary CRM
  • Analyse marketing activity and create dashboard for regular stakeholder updates on Marketing Performance.
