We continue to see wildfires of unprecedented scale and destructiveness, as well as catastrophic storms that devastate coastal regions with increasing frequency. Our oceans and waterways are being polluted with immense amounts of waste, including discarded plastics, with potentially catastrophic effects on ecosystems and wildlife, all of this made worse by habitat loss and reduction in biodiversity. The Role      

We are looking to hire a Sustainability Senior Consultant for EMEA Technology Consulting. This is a new role, working in pararell with our global sustainability team and local green teams. The role will have two main focus\:

1. Help our consulting team to systematically sell and deliver projects in a sustainable way. To operate the sustainability model across the entire projects lifecycle from sales to delivery to business solutions management.
2. Participate in projects to support consulting team and to help our customer to quantify expected and realized sustainability gains.

By taking on this role, you will be integrating sustainability into our consulting delivery frameworks. Therefore, you will be able to actively contribute and impact the future of consulting including the definition and adoption of the sustainability model for Oracle Consulting.

Your enthusiasm, knowledge, and customer-centricity will help us become the number one cloud company in the world. Mentoring and coaching are two important aspects in this role, as you will develop and grow the sustainability capabilities of our EMEA consulting team.

Domain Skills

• Good understanding and how to impact the 17 UN Goals
• Good understanding of Corporate Sustainability within IT-industry and how sustainability can be applied to IT Services organizations
• Experience in applying recognised sustainability frameworks and circular economy
• Relationship building at all levels, including with Senior Executives
• Insight into using digital technologies to solving clients’ complex business and sustainability problems
• Familiar with sustainability reports and great understanding of terms like CDP, ESG and Net Zero targets.
• Engage with customers to understand their sustainability objectives and related business needs

Preferred Skills

• Work experience from complex, international and multicultural organization
• Experience in analysis and business case development
• Previous experience of a leading role within EMEA
• Relevant degree/master of sustainability studies or direct experience in implementing Sustainability programs
• Research and develop methodologies to quantify the sustainability benefits of enterprise software deployments including in supply chain management (logistics, design, manufacturing planning), ERP, reporting, and analytics

• Confidence to articulate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical and impactful manner
• Constructively challenge team members and leadership to ensure the right outcomes are delivered
• Interest in technology, a love of learning new things and helping customers succeed
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
