My name is Pekka Stenfors, and I am leading the Network Functions & Security unit. We are a great bunch of people in a cross-border team that have team members in Nordic countries and Baltics. We are now looking for a Security Lead Developer to help us to improve and build security network and cloud solutions.

As a Security Lead Developer, you are part of the Network Functions & Security team. We operate in unit Common Products & Services - Cloud & Infrastructure which is developing, maintaining, and operating our Datacenters' IT infrastructure and internal platforms (private cloud, integration). It plays a key role in delivering production quality and customer experience for continued growth in Telia Company.

Our team is owning the Firewalls and Proxies of Telia Company. We oversee issues related to IT security safety and ensure organizations and our business customer’s networks and systems remain protected from all types of cyber threats. We also participate in Service Assurance work in our area (Incident, Problem and Change Management) and support Telia's Product teams by designing and implementing security customer solutions. We work according to DevOps, so we are building the security solutions and we also operate them.

As a Security Lead Developer, your key responsibilities are:

• Maintenance of security solution architecture and documentation
• Designing network and cloud security solutions
• Participating in product development with Telia’s cyber security product unit
• Working in a key role between stakeholders and our security DevOps teams
• Early involvement in development initiatives
• Deep collaboration with Product Owner, Scrum Master and DevOps teams

Is this you?

You have a degree in IT or/and Telecommunications, and you have a proven experience and good performance of working within IT and Network architecture. You are good at documenting architecture descriptions, and you know the related documentation tools.

You are not afraid of challenges in your work. You are ready for continuous improvement of your own responsibility area. You are open for international working environment. You own good communication skills, and you are fluent in English language.

• You are eager to learn more

Your experience:

• Maintenance of architecture descriptions
• Working several years in Network and IT environments
• TCP/IP Networking and LAN experience
• Cloud experience
• Knowledge of network security solutions
• You know Scaled Agile Framework and own Lean-Agile mindset
