If yes, we could have suitable jobs for you. We are currently looking for dynamic and innovative Control System Engineer. The focus in the position is on diesel-electric and hybrid vehicles. The position is permanent and located in Sandvik Turku site which is a global technology and manufacturing center for loading and hauling equipment. Partial remote work is possible in the role, however occasional travel and presence is required in our Division headquarters in Turku.

Your role

Your work as a Control System Engineer in BHEV technology organization. Your key task is to specify functionality of vehicle’s control system, develop control logic and optimize its performance. You will create simulation models in Matlab/Simulink and will use model-based software development methods in developing and testing vehicle’s management systems. You will work in concept and product development projects ensuring the system is well specified, implemented and tested.

Your background

You have a suitable degree in the field of engineering and a few years of experience with a proven record in working with control systems software development tasks. Knowledge of mobile equipment driveline with embedded control systems is a big plus. You have fluent communication skills in English and Finnish. Proactive and systematic way of working and excellent skills in problem solving will be needed. You are a good team player in a multicultural stakeholder environment.
