You’ll join our growing Central Presales team of close to 30 highly skilled analysts, consultants and technical writers. Our team's goal is to provide tangible proof to our prospects to convince them on the value we will bring to them. You will work towards this goal by performing simulations and analysis to model the business impact of RELEX, configuring product demonstrations to explain how it all works and participating in developing our sales tools and internal working methods.</p> <p>Here at RELEX we believe in transparency and using common sense; putting an end to stupid things and treating your colleagues as your friends are some of our core values. For example, you will work with the following (not all at the same time of course):</p> <ul> <li>You’ll get to help convince our prospects on our value through doing simulations, forecasts and analysis on prospect datasets using our in-house RELEX software.</li> <li>You will calculate business cases and present your analysis findings in a compelling way.</li> <li>You will explain how our system works through building product demonstrations for prospect scenarios.</li> <li>As a part of these, you will map and wrangle prospect data to be read into the system using common data wrangling languages.</li> <li>You will get to see the birds eye view of our industry through answering RFP questions.</li> <li>You will develop both our sales tools and our internal ways of working.</li> </ul> <p>As every prospect is different and we frequently charter into new territories, your work will allow you to think outside of the box and to take initiative daily. The role is mostly back-office but you will work closely with customer-facing colleagues in Sales as well as our Product teams.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What you’ll bring to the table</strong></p> <p>In other words, what it takes to do the above tasks? First and foremost, you will need to have the willingness to learn, the eagerness to face new things head on and the ability to take ownership of your own work. You are technically savvy enough to handle large datasets and have enough understanding for business to know what the data is about and why does it matter.
