My name is Mika Ikonen, and I am leading the Management & Orchestration team within our Network Service Management & Automation unit. We are looking forward to onboard a new MANO Developer to our management & orchestration team. Your location can be in Helsinki or in Stockholm.

Your next challenge?

As a member of the MANO team, you will develop applications targeting mobile network automation in Telco Cloud ecosystem. Management and Orchestration is a new and key component in the mobile network and will tie together other network entities to enable full automation and orchestration through SW programming and restful APIs. We work with following automation topics like end-to-end Telco Cloud infrastructure upgrade, different tenant operation automation and unused workflow identification to name few examples. We aim to make our Telco Cloud ecosystem best class in the world and the future of this area is super interesting and full of new challenges.

As a MANO Developer you understand how the network evolves through automation both for life cycle management, closed loop automation and service assurance point of view. You also have good understanding of the end-to-end requirements of the service; functional and non-functional requirements and provide input to other network domains. As we also use sourced SW, you will have tight cooperation with suppliers to reach a joint success with the automation transformation.

Additionally, you will have a role when it comes to system design and aiding stakeholders in the decision-making process to secure quality and customer satisfaction. We value collaboration and knowledge sharing and therefore this is a great team to develop and grow.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science /relevant work experience

Your experience and skills as Developer:

• Web service, REST API’s
• Front-end development (e.g. Vue.JS, Angular, React)
• Python & scripting
• Test driven development (e.g. Robot Framework, Cypress, etc.)
• Micro-services development, Docker & Kubernetes
• SQL, Linux OS
• Code Repository (e.g. GIT, Stash, Artifactory)
• Tracking tools (e.g. Jira, BugZilla)
• Understanding of CI/CD (e.g. Jenkins, Bamboo)

In addition, preferably knowledge or experience from working as Developer with some of the following areas and tools:

• Previous experience working with CNF/VNF’s, NFVI, NFVO…
• OAuth flows, certificate, and token management
• Previous experience with data modelling language like TOSCA and YANG
• SAFe WoW (Scaled Agile Framework)
• Northbound and southbound interfaces
• Service catalogue exposure of capabilities
• Understanding of mobile networks and network management is a plus
• Understanding of ETSI MANO, TMF Open APIs
