Senior Full Stack Developer wanted to join a team working with one of our fastest growing products, Elements Endpoint Protection. It is a tool that thousands of our partners worldwide use to deliver endpoint security as a service for their customers, businesses of different sizes.

We enjoy developing micro services with Java and NodeJS, while the front end consuming those services is a single page HTML5 application (AngularJS). There is ongoing work in the frontend where we utilize a micro-frontend approach to be able to progressively use the latest version of Angular as well. We also have a monolith written in Java 8 that we are splitting into micro services using the latest LTS releases of Java (11 and 17). All our teams work with the full stack throughout the development chain from IDE to automated cloud deployment in AWS. We embrace DevOps! We utilize a lot of different AWS services ranging from Kinesis, SNS, SQS, ECS, S3 and Lambdas to CloudFormation and OpenSearch (AWS fork of Elasticsearch)

We have extensive test automation and continuous integration pipelines. Developers work alongside testers to ensure the quality of our software. New versions of the service are frequently deployed to our multi-region production environments, where roughly 2 million clients are managed. Clients ranging from laptops and servers to mobile phones with various operating systems.

We work locally around the Helsinki capital region in international teams of 4-6 developers, so communication and collaboration skills are key skills for the team members. Our main working language is English.

Remote work has been the name of the game for the last year and will continue until the situation improves. Once we can move to a more normal working environment we will continue to support remote work, but depending on team needs some weekly or monthly visits to the office might be planned.

Skills needed for this job:

• 4+ years of work experience developing and designing scalable, performant, customer facing web and backend applications.

• Strong experience building software using Java, Spring, JavaScript and NodeJS.

• Professional experience working with AngularJS or more modern JavaScript frameworks is a definite plus.

• Experience of writing tests (unit, integration and e2e)

• Familiarity with AWS services and continuous deployment skills are highly valued
