The Services Account Executive (SAE) plays a key role in SAP’s strategy! The SAE is accountable to ensure business growth of new Services business through sales and business development activities and ensure they are delivered in accordance with the organizational strategy. This role represents the SAP Services organization from a sales perspective and is a key contributor to the overall success of the customer and partner relationships.

Summary of the main tasks & activities in the role:
• Builds a foundation within assigned accounts on which to harvest future Services business opportunities. Develops and maintains effective relationships with all levels, including senior executives, in assigned accounts.
• Actively understand assigned key customer's technology footprint, strategic growth plans, technology strategy, pain points and competitive landscape. Direct contributor to overall long-term success of customer and partner relationships within the account.
• Accountable for booking and revenue Services targets for assigned accounts. Generation and management of opportunities and bids, deal closure through formal sales cycle.
• Accountable for all Services Commercial aspects in assigned account, such as deploying appropriate teams to execute winning sales, and supporting Delivery Teams engaged in delivering against existing contracts.

The following experience gives a good foundation for the role:
• Demonstrated success with medium to large transactions and lengthy sales campaigns in a fast-paced, consultative and competitive market.
• Direct quota carrying selling experience in the services and/or enterprise software industry.
• Intimate knowledge of enterprise software projects (cloud, hybrid) and the overall lifecycle management of enterprise applications.

Fluent English is needed and fluency in Finnish is preferred. Regarding the work Location, Helsinki metropolitan area is preferred. In general, we are fully flexible so it’s up to employee where one can best get the work done (please note candidate must have the proper Finnish working permit in place).  Expected travel is between 0-30%, depending on where the assigned customers are located.
