Enterprise Agile Coach

We are looking for an Enterprise Agile Coach, with proven results, and hands on experience of working strategically on enterprise level implementing change in large organizations. We need someone who can participate and drive continuous improvement and definitions of the Telia Way of Working and guide the organization through the needed changes.

My name is Åsa Heneryd and I am the head of the Agile Delivery team within the Delivery Excellence unit. Our mission is to enable and actively support the organization to create excellence in the agile delivery execution workflows and build sustainable change. We are driving, supporting and guiding Telia in the implementation and improvement of our ways of working including our Common Delivery Model. It is an exciting journey and a cornerstone in realizing the benefits of our innovative Transformation.

We are in a fast-paced industry and our customers have high expectations on us. We have been transitioning from traditional waterfall projects to agile methodology and we have implemented a Common Delivery Model across six countries based on the lean and agile mindset with inspiration from Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Service management (ITIL4).

As an Agile Coach you will coach and lead all levels of the organization through a Lean-Agile transformation at scale by training, coaching, facilitating and mentoring with the support of a very experienced Lean Agile Center of Excellence.

The work will both be on strategic level as well as hands-on, designing the implementation, defining ways of working and coaching leaders and organizations as well as coaching and training Agile Release Trains and teams. 

Agile Delivery as a team is a flat organization with several focus areas. The work is mainly done together with other units in virtual teams and setups. We aim for an open culture with a high level of self-leadership.

Your tasks: 

  • Support the roll out and relentless improvement of the Telia Way of Working with included components (such as our Common Delivery Model)

  • Participate in developing the enterprise transformation plan

  • Assist the organization with change management practices

  • Train and coach the enterprise through the scaled lean agile transformation

  • Mentor, facilitate and coach the activation of country specific and common elements of the Common Delivery Model

  • Train and coach leaders, agile teams, Agile Release Trains, Large Solution Trains, Lean Portfolios and related stakeholders

  • Create & consolidate agile/lean/DevOps coaching/training modules/courses and handbooks as part of the Common Delivery Model.

  • Follow and integrate external development in the fast paced growing agile/lean/devops domain

  • Support stakeholders, organizations and collaboration areas with multiple agile teams in their proficiency in agile values, principles and methods to ensure the realization of customer value and company strategy using the Integrated Agile Coaching model


Is this you?

You are an agile culture change agent, providing leadership and practical experience in the area of agile best practices for the whole organization. You have great communication and collaboration skills and have a big internal motivation. You have the ability to bridge the gap between business and technology and speak the language of both. You have experience of agile coaching on Enterprise level and are ready for a new exciting opportunity!

Your preferred skills, experience and mindset:

  • Subject Matter Expert on Lean Agile methodology

  • Extensive experience from large scale agile transformations and development, including scaled agile processes and SAFe. (SPC certification is meritorious)

  • Leadership experience

  • Experience in building agile mindset and culture

  • Strong coaching skills and experience of coaching on different organizational levels.

  • Pedagogic training skills and experience to design, plan and run trainings

  • Fluent in English

  • Experience on ITIL and Service Management is a plus
