We are looking for an Integration Specialist to join Nortal’s Enterprise unit that hosts our Industrial, Energy and Telecommunication sectors. Your first project will be with a major player in the wood processing industry to whom Nortal is working on a series of data collection, and other projects. The project uses .Net, Azure, SQL, and GE Proficy Plant Applications, and we’d prefer if you’d have good command of SQL, and experience with most of these technologies. 
 
We have offices in Helsinki, Oulu, Turku, Uusikaupunki and Jyväskylä and would prefer if you’d be able to work from these locations, but we are open to remote work within Finland as well. There will be factory visits from time to time within Finland and possibly also abroad. 

Your daily work will include:

  • Configuration of OPC, Historian, and Plant Apps,  
  • Production line data acquisition from PLC and storing the data to cloud, and problem solving  
  • Communication and coordination with the customer and partners  
  • Providing input for project planning on above topics 

    • On top of the tech you will need:

  • Understanding of OPC, Historian, and PLC 
  • Prior experience of working in industry sector projects 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Finnish  
  • An open mind and a willingness to learn  
  • Capability to commit, to drive and succeed in the work also independently
