WithSecure's Linux Products Team develops and maintains products that protect our customers' Linux servers and workstations. The team's main products are Elements Linux Endpoint Protection , Linux Security 64 , Atlant and Countercept. They integrate tightly with a wide array of security, cloud and other technologies from sibling development teams inside WithSecure. The Linux Products Team is looking for a Senior Developer.
Key Responsibilities
- Add new functionality to our products.
- Address possible issues raised by our customers.
- Participate in designing and architecting our products.
- Develop tooling and methodology to optimize our productivity and quality.
What are we looking for?
- A solid understanding of and skills at Linux system programming.
- Proficiency in C/C++, Python and Bash.
- Capacity to work independently on complex challenges.
- Eagerness to offer and accept help, to teach and learn.
- A customer-first mindset.
Bonus points
- Experience with Go and other programming languages.
- Familiarity with the Git version control system.
- Familiarity with virtualization and cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with SELinux and other security modules.
- General knowledge of the goings-on in the Linux and software development world.
