Building systems for ingestion, transformation, and storage of vast amounts of data requires special expertise, which is why we are looking for a coding Cloud Data Engineer to join our growing Data-Driven Business team.

Your daily work:

As a Cloud Data Engineer, you'll be an ambassador for data in the cloud, implementing modern cloud-based pipelines and analytics for our customers, making data accessible and usable for a new wave of data-powered apps and services. You’ll work alongside the customer, sales, and project managers to design and architect data solutions, owning them from a technical point of view.

To be a successful Cloud Data Engineer, you should have:

  • A minimum of 3 years of professional programming experience and a minimum 1-year hands-on experience in building modern data platforms/pipelines on public cloud platforms and services. Here are some things that'll be sure to impress us:
    • More than 1 year of experience on data lake or machine learning/analytics projects.
    • Ability to read multiple programming languages fluently and can write code with one or more.
    • Understanding of cloud technologies and architecture with deployment experience on at least one cloud platform.
    • Technologies that tick the box include Azure Synapse, AWS Glue, Google Big Query, Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL, Airflow. But this is not an exhaustive list.
    • A drive to automate everywhere, whether in pipelines, testing, deployments, monitoring.
    • Create neat, readable, and reusable code that is easily read by peers and customers and efficiently executed by machines.

    Interest in or experience with machine learning, artificial intelligence, or IoT is a plus.

    We also appreciate it if you're an active contributor in the tech community and/or interested in giving meetup/conference presentations or writing blog texts.
