Job Description

Intel Finland is looking for aspiring Software engineers who are passionate about developing automated quality assurance solutions for new technology projects. As a System Validation Engineering intern, you'll be part of a small and fast-moving validation team where you'll have a large impact on our platform validation solutions. In addition to working alongside talented colleagues, you will have many opportunities to learn through coaching and stretch assignment opportunities. You'll be closely guided by feedback and support to accelerate your learning and maximize your knowledge. You will have an opportunity to engage with key customers and Intel experts to shape emerging Intel products.

Your Team
We work closely together as a team, following an agile development and validation project approach. You will be responsible for your own area but participate in the daily development and validation cycle. The mission of this team is to plan and build needed validation capabilities to test new technologies and solutions in Intel.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Script, code, automate and test our current platforms. At the moment main focus is cloud based secure payment solution and also advanced care related projects.
You will be comfortable working in a fast moving agile and DevOps based dynamic product development environment.


Qualifications

The candidate must be working towards BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

Skills required to be successful at this role:

  • Experience in writing code in Python and having scripting capability, other languages are a plus.

  • Understanding for Linux and Windows development environments.

  • Understanding of software quality assurance, testing and test automation.

  • Basic knowledge with Cloud technologies, some experience working in AWS is a plus.

  • Basic understanding of version control and agile projects.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • The individual must be well organized, methodical, and detail oriented.

  • A self-starter who can identify problems, taking initiative to propose solutions, and successfully executing plans.
